We all want the same goal: to be as healthy as we can be. We may be at different stages, but we’re in this together.
Maybe it was the years of playing, coaching and officiating competitive and recreational sports - where I saw (and suffered) injuries and complications - that lead me to enrol in the Kinesiology program at York University.
Nonetheless, I learned to view and correct biomechanics, understand physiology, and develop functional movement patterns and earned a Bachelors of Science (Spec. Hons)!
I was fortunate to expand that technical understanding with practical volunteer and co-op experiences, here in Canada and in the United Kingdom.
That experience included working with professional and international sports teams, with children with physical disabilities and with chronic disease patients. I was privileged to also accept a sponsorship at one of England’s state-of-the-art chiropractic clinics.
Further education enhanced my practical abilities and knowledge in custom meal plans and personal training regimes, physiotherapy, rebound and hydrotherapies, wheelchair fitting, custom orthotic molds and algorithmic automation in the field of chiropractics.
After having experienced the benefits of massage first-hand, I decided to enrol into a two-year Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) program at Canadian College of Massage where I learned treatments for prenatal, infant, stroke, sport therapy, respiratory issues, migraines and various uses of hydrotherapy to name a few.
My goal now is to apply this collective knowledge in a practical setting and help those who need it.
A life-long learner, I am here to help you to become as healthy as you can be!
